A long overdue project that has finally become official. FFA's Humour site filled with lots of good ol' British type comedy and more things completly different.

It was an Idea I had initially came up with and discussed with WebCrawler last month about showcasing "Flight From Ashiya's work into his own section. A lot of Credit Goes to Moderator Phreaky Phish (The Nat) for her input on the design.

We gave" Phreaky Phish" her own section because she has earned it by being a great part of our team at Mad mumblings and she is a very talented writer. Look for many new surprises as our Website expands.

Thanks MD, I'm humbled. And inspired. And appreciative. And blushing. And pleased. And.... I'll stop...

Anyway, I hope you do good things with this forum, FFA. I couldn't think of a better moderator for an art and humor forum. Good luck.

Hey, new avatar! I kind of liked the red better, but it's nice you didn't go with the demon. Was this on the same page as your other one?

This Cover of Time Magazine was issued on 10th April 1966 & is supposed to have been highly influential in kicking off the 'Swinging London' myth which caused a flood of American visitors to 'Carnaby Street' & 'Buckingham Palace' & did our balance-of-payments & the £/$ ratio no end of good.
It is a good example of the 'Pop-Art' genre of the Period.

I like that Bus Photo.
It's old-stuffy & English-Quasi-Quaint.
That's now in my Floppy Disc Picture Library.
It just needs a 'Pythonesque' Caption!.

& now on Cinemad .........a very naughty film:

British Actress Belinda Lee wasn't called the 'British-Monroe':that acolade went to Diana Dors;but she far more deserved that ambiguous title because of her radiant Blond Bombshell aura & bubbly persona.
She made several mundane Rank Organisation Films during the 1950s.Her talents as a comedy-actress were completely under used almost to the point of betrayal.
As a result of this;she drifted over to the Continent in 1958 to make sleazy Italian over-dubbed spectaculars.
In March 1961, on a curving road in the San Bernardino Hills outside Hollywood ,the Car Tyre blew out & Belinda Lee was thrown into the air, sustaining injuries which she died from. She was only 25 years old.It only leaves Brit Film Buffs to wonder what could have been!???.
